We are looking for a highly skilled Sr Java/Svelte Engineer to join a Content Engineering team supporting digital products and platforms across Music, Books, and Podcasts.
This role requires strong hands-on expertise across Java, React, Svelte, and Cassandra, combined with an AI-forward engineering mindset. The idóneo candidate is an experienced full stack engineer who can build scalable backend services, modern frontend applications, and data-intensive solutions while leveraging AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
?️ MUST-HAVE Technical Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java.
Strong hands-on experience with React.
Strong hands-on experience with Svelte.
Hands-on experience with Cassandra.
Strong Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
Experience designing and developing scalable applications and backend services.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
Advanced English communication skills.
? MUST-HAVE AI-Forward Experience
AI is a key part of the team's engineering approach. Candidates must demonstrate experience using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and engineering efficiency.
Hands-on experience with Claude is required.
Experience using AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, and development tasks.
Ability to effectively review, validate, and improve AI-generated code.
Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI into daily software engineering workflows.
