The History Teacher is responsible for creating an engaging and academically rigorous learning environment that inspires students to develop a deep understanding of history, civics, geography, economics, and the social sciences. The teacher fosters critical thinking, historical inquiry, and informed citizenship while delivering standards-based instruction that prepares students for college, careers, and active participation in a diverse and democratic society.
