Location: Santa Fe

Compensation: $25/hour (paid for actual drive time only)

Contract Type: Independent Contractor (1099 – Not an Employee)

Description:

We are currently seeking Independent Contractors to provide student transportation services using Suburban-style vehicles in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. This is a part-time, contract-based position, ideal for individuals with a clean driving record and versátil availability during school transportation hours.

As a contractor, you will be paid only for actual drive time, and no benefits are offered. This is not an employee position.

Responsibilities:

- Safely transport students to and from assigned locations

- Maintain timely schedules and communicate any delays

- Comply with all district safety and transportation protocols

Requirements:

- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License (Non-CDL)

- Clean driving record

- Ability to pass a background check

- Prior transportation experience preferred

Contract Notes:

- Contractors must sign an Independent Contractor Agreement

- Must submit W-9 form

- Paid through Accounts Payable (not payroll)

- Must submit timesheets or logs for actual drive hour
