Technical Project Manager

Overview of Position

The Technical Project Manager supports Legal and Compliance operations by evaluating business processes, systems, data, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Legal, Compliance, IT, and third-party vendors to design, implement, and support technology-driven solutions that align with organizational objectives. The position is responsible for leading business transformation initiatives, managing projects from planning through implementation, and ensuring changes are effectively integrated into day-to-day operations. The Technical Project Manager serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, supporting system enhancements, resolving operational challenges, and driving process optimization efforts.

Additionally, this role develops and supports business intelligence and reporting solutions, manages data integrations, oversees automation initiatives, and leverages emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence tools, to enhance operational effectiveness. The position ensures that established methodologies, governance standards, and change management practices are consistently applied to deliver sustainable business value and operational excellence.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

- Lead and support Legal and Compliance improvement initiatives by developing project plans, managing timelines, coordinating resources, monitoring risks, and ensuring successful execution of project objectives.
- Partner with stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, IT, and external vendors to gather business requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of Legal and Compliance systems, ensuring system stability, scalability, data integrity, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows, identify improvement opportunities, facilitate future-state design sessions, and implement process enhancements utilizing continuous improvement methodologies and industry best practices.
- Coordinate system testing activities, including configuration validation and user acceptance testing (UAT), while developing training materials and supporting user adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Diagnose, investigate, and resolve system and workflow issues in production and testing environments, providing technical support and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that provide actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and measure operational performance through meaningful metrics and KPIs.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations that deliver actionable business insights.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries to extract, validate, transform, and analyze data from multiple data sources.




- Design and maintain scalable data models that support accurate reporting, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
- Develop and support ETL processes and leverage Power Query and related tools to prepare, cleanse, and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Build, monitor, and support automated workflows using Power Automate and other automation technologies to streamline manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Support and maintain integrations between enterprise systems using APIs and other connectivity methods, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and leadership teams.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, Business Process Engineering, Business Analysis, Systems Administration, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) with the ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal business environments.
- Experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional needs, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and implementation.
- Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Strong SQL skills with experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple data sources.
- Experience designing and maintaining data models that support reporting and analytics.
- Experience developing or supporting ETL processes and data integration solutions.
- Experience using Power Query for data transformation and preparation.
- Experience integrating systems through APIs or other enterprise connectivity methods.
- Experience building or supporting workflow automation solutions using Power Automate or similar platforms.
- Experience supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise business systems and operational workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

- Experience applying process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Advanced Power BI development experience, including DAX, Power Query (M), data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Experience using Python or other analytics tools to support reporting, automation, and data analysis initiatives.
- Experience working in Legal, Compliance, Risk Management,



or other highly regulated business environments.
- Experience with automation technologies, workflow management platforms, and artificial intelligence solutions.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, web services, and other data exchange technologies.
- Experience designing and supporting end-to-end business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, reporting best practices, and KPI development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience serving as a liaison between business and technical teams to deliver technology-enabled business solutions.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, Microsoft Power BI, or related certifications.
