About The Job
We are seeking a highly motivated Equity Research Analyst specializing in the mining sector to support our advisory and investment banking activities focused on mining-related opportunities. The role bridges technical geological expertise with commercial and financial analysis, evaluating mining assets, transactions, and investment opportunities across the resources value chain.
This is 100% remote position, that allows you to work from anywhere in Latin America or North America. We have an in-person office in Toronto,
but this is strictly voluntary.
Responsibilities
You will be our equity research analyst covering the metals and mining sector. As such, you will be required to write industry research and cover mining issuers across Latin America and other emerging markets.
You will help the investment banking team to conduct due diligence on mining assets and companies, integrating geological, technical, and commercial assessments.
Part of your job will be building and maintaining financial models (DCF, NAV, comparable transactions and companies) for mining projects and corporate transactions.
Monitor commodity markets, mining sector trends, M&A; activity, and the competitive landscape, and produce Weekly and Monthly reports for our clients and internal use.
You will analyze mineral resource and reserve statements (JORC, NI 43-101, or equivalent) and evaluate mining project economics.
