We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 5+ years of software engineering experience to join our U.S. client. In this role, you will own end-to-end feature delivery across the full stack — front-end, back-end, data, and integrations — while leveraging modern development tools, including AI-assisted development, to build and ship production-quality software efficiently.

Our client is building an AI-powered platform that transforms how wholesale distributors operate by embedding intelligent automation into the core workflows that drive product distribution. Serving a multi-trillion-dollar industry, the platform unifies customer relationship management, product information, eCommerce, and order and quote management into a single AI-driven ecosystem. By streamlining complex processes and reducing manual data entry, it enables sales teams to focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and growing strategic relationships.

This is a generalist full stack role — engineers are not siloed into front-end or back-end. You will work closely with PMs, designers, and other engineers to scope, build, and deploy features that distributors feel directly. You will periodically work with customers to support onboarding, troubleshoot integrations, and help them get the most out of the platform.

On this job you'll be leveraging agentic AI development tools as a first-class collaborator. You should be ready to guide agents, structuring context, validating output and making judgement calls AI cannot.

Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end delivery of features — from refining tickets to deployment, monitoring, and iteration
- Build and maintain production-quality applications fully leveraging AI to build Python, Typescript, and Vue.js components
- Move fluidly across the stack, which is TypeScript /Vue.js on the front-end, Python on the back-end, SQL
- and data modeling, infra touch points. You don't need expertise in these languages as AI will do the heavy lifting, but you will pick up whatever the work needs.
- Operate AI coding agents (Claude Code and similar) at a high level: scope work, structure
- context, run multiple agents in parallel where it makes sense, and ship reviewed, production-quality output
- Collaborate in a squad model with PMs, designers, and engineers; participate in 2-week sprints, standups,

refinements, retrospectives, and code reviews
- Design schemas, queries, and APIs that hold up at scale — performance, reliability, and correctness are on you, not on the agent
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues across different application layers
- Contribute to engineering practices, better patterns, better tooling, and effective ways to incorporate AI into the development process
- Work with customers directly a few times a year — distributors operate in warehouses and on sales floors, and the best product decisions come from understanding their environment firsthand

Required Experience:

- Excellent English communication skills
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with real, demonstrable full stack delivery — production systems, real users, and meaningful ownership. Resume-level hands-on experience, not LLM -generated portfolios.
- Strong fundamentals. You understand what the code is doing and why. You can read a stack trace, reason through a query plan, debug a race condition, and tell when an agent is wrong. We are explicitly not hiring "vibe coders" who depend on AI to compensate for missing fundamentals — AI amplifies seniority, it doesn't replace it.
- Daily, hands-on use of agentic dev tools. Claude Code, Cursor agent mode, Codex, or equivalent — used to ship real features, not just autocomplete. You can talk concretely about how you structure prompts, manage context, parallelize agents, and verify their output.
- AI-curious mindset with an interest in using agentic AI tools to improve software development. Experience with AI-assisted development tools is valued, but you do not need to be an AI expert
- Generalist mindset with the ability to work across different areas of the technology stack rather than being limited to a single area of ownership
- Strong understanding of databases, APIs, system design, and application architecture
- Startup mindset: pragmatic, fast, biased to ship,

and comfortable working through ambiguity
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical decisions to PMs, designers, engineers, and customers
- Strong ownership and judgment: ability to take features from idea to production and determine what to build, what to simplify, and when a technical solution needs improvement
- Proven experience delivering software in a dynamic startup or fast-paced engineering environment
- Collaborative approach, can-do attitude, and strong problem-solving skills
- Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent

Desired Experience:

- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Experience building integrations with distribution ERPs or similar systems — ingesting orders, products, customers, and pricing and reconciling messy real-world data
- Experience working in customer-facing or implementation environments
- Experience building or integrating with AI-powered or agentic products
- Familiarity with concepts such as AI agents, MCP, tool use, evaluations, prompt engineering, or context engineering, Harnessing and Orchestration
- Experience using AI coding agents or AI-assisted development tools in a professional software engineering environment
- Prior experience at an early-stage SaaS startup

Additional Information:

- Your ideas are heard and your contributions matter — think big!
- Own your work and be recognized for your contributions
- Work with smart and creative people
- Making mistakes is human. We learn from them and value transparency
- We recognize you as an individual, with no presumptions or judgment
- 15 days Paid Time Off (PTO), 1 floating day, 3 sick days, and designated national holidays
- Start: ASAP
