The position focuses on maintaining core accounting processes, producing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable reporting requirements.
Your work will balance hands‐on transaction processing with analysis and reporting, partnering closely with finance stakeholders to support informed business decisions.What you will doDevelop, implement, and maintain accounting systems including journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payablePrepare and post journal entries and ensure timely and accurate period close activitiesBalance accounts and maintain accurate records of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expensesPrepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedulesReview and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations to ensure complianceMonitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects or business unitsInvestigate and resolve accounting variances and data discrepanciesCollaborate with internal finance teams to support audits, controls,



and financial reviewsWho You AreRequired skills and experienceExperience working in core accounting functions such as general ledger, journal entries, or financial closeWorking knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standardsExperience preparing or supporting financial statements and reconciliationsAbility to analyze financial data and identify variances or issuesExperience using accounting systems and Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysisAttention to detail with the ability to follow defined accounting controls and proceduresPreferred skills and experienceExperience supporting month end or year end close activitiesExposure to audit support or internal control processesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldExperience working in a large or matrixed organizationBeing YouThe "Kyn" in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
