We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to support the accounting and billing operations of a growing organization within the IT reseller industry . This role focuses on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, billing processes, and accurate financial recordkeeping, with an emphasis on Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Azure billing. Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) activities.
- Accounts Payable: enter vendor bills, ensuring proper posting to COGS/Income accounts and/or expense/prepaid asset accounts.
- Accounts Receivable: issue customer invoices and credit memos, and follow up on collections.
- Perform billing activities related to IT reseller services, including Microsoft M365 and

Microsoft Azure, as well as labor billing (hourly, block of time, and fixed price projects).
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Calculate sales tax on a monthly basis.
- Perform other reconciliations as needed, based on AP/AR.




- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Support internal accounting processes and assist with periodic reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients in English and Spanish.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of financial and company information.
- Perform all of the above with efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years of experience using QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop) — specifically

QuickBooks Premier/Enterprise (not the SaaS/Online version).
- At least 2 years of experience billing in the IT reseller space.
- Mandatory: minimum 2 years of experience billing Microsoft M365 and Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including billing and collections.
- Knowledge of labor billing (hourly, block of time, and fixed price projects).
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage recurring tasks.
- Interest in growing responsibilities within the organization from an accounting perspective.
