SUPPORT NEEDS: Diagnosed of ADHD. He is hyperactive. He does not hold on to a particular task for too long, and if not, he gets frustrated and agitated or leading him to anger issues. He needs to be accompanied, monitored and help him accomplish some tasks.

PERSONALITY TRAITS: He is cheerful, loving and emotional at times. He is diagnosed of ADHD. He is hyperactive and sometimes cannot hold onto task for too long. Because of this, agitation and frustration might set in.

LIKES: He likes screen time, watching sonics, using his IPAD tablet, and car toys. He likes exploring his environment, singing songs and playing around. He likes eating crips made with cheese and onions.

Dislikes He does not like when you force him to do what does not like. For instance, taking away from him anything he is holding and has interest at that moment, it could be a Tablet or any other items. He does not like keeping away from food for too long.

Hours Available 6 hours per week

8 hours per week during school holidays

Days and times to be mutually agreed with employer.

Rate Of Pay £13.00 per hour

Duties (day to day) The kind of support needed and required to meet the service user’s needs during the agreed DP hours are:

Respite and short break programmes. Supervise the activities of the service user while they are out to parks.

Sensory friendly activities like cinema,



sessions and community activities for sensory needs to enable him build up his social skills.

Sports and recreation programmes like swimming, dancing, football and horse riding.

Community access programme like helping the service user learn life skills, using transport, ordering food and social interactions.

Holiday and weekend schemes, structured community outing during holiday time.

Provide 1-1 support.

Close supervision always required.

Supporting access to the wider community and fun social activities.

Helping identify new interests and suitable sensory-friendly activities.

Providing personal care while maintaining dignity and comfort. Can independently use the toilet but needs assistance to keep himself clean after use.

Essential Skills We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable, punctual, and understanding.

A good communicator.

Experience with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Driving licence and access to own vehicle desirable. This is optional.

DBS An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences. This cost will be met by the employer.
