Financial Manager - Remote

JL Closets , South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee our financial operations and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us maintain accurate financial operations, improve internal systems and processes, and provide insights that support strategic business growth. If you're experienced in finance and accounting, passionate about people and processes, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, bookkeeping, and other accounting activities
- Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Monitor budgets and cash flow to support informed business decisions
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records
- Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
- Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, controls, and team processes
- Establish efficient procedures and accountability standards across financial operations
- Support leadership with financial analysis and recommendations that contribute to business growth





What You Bring

- 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
- Proven experience overseeing financial operations and accounting functions
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance
- Experience managing and developing remote teams
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and consistently follow through
