Skills and Competencies:
- More than 15 years of experience in a compliance role interacting with regulators across Latin America and supporting diverse internal stakeholders
- Experience in the practice of law as a licensed attorney in one or more Latin American countries; cross‑border legal experience in finance‑related sectors preferred
- Experience with regulators or in regulatory compliance across Latin America required
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Proven managerial expertise with a track record of building, developing, and retaining high‑performing teams across multiple geographies
- Fluent in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
- Highest ethical standards, professional demeanor, proactive, adaptable, diligent, and dependable
- Highly organized and efficient with the ability to multi‑task and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business environments
