We are seeking a Lead Scala/Java Developer to drive the architecture, design, and development of highly performant, resilient, scalable, extensible, secure, and available software. The adecuado candidate will collaboratively identify, design, develop, and deploy technology and process solutions that enable the delivery of business capabilities, with typical activities including microservice development, solution design, process improvement, and production support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality software using Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Enable the realization of strategic initiatives and operational improvements
- Establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with business and technology partners
- Communicate complex ideas and concepts to non-technical peers and customers
- Manage and partner effectively with technology vendors to deliver against business objectives
- Implement all technologies in accordance with Information Security's guiding principles for highly sensitive data




- Provide high-availability operational support and automate solutions across the environment
- Implement deep telemetry capabilities to provide ongoing success and performance metrics
- Implement service monitoring across all platforms to ensure continuous availability and operational continuity of critical systems
- Uphold company policies and legal/regulatory requirements
- Implement and maintain system configurations and baselines to support secure application development software control best practices and standards

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional industry experience with software development
- 3+ years of software engineering and design at high volume or large scale
- 5+ years of software development experience in Java, Scala, Kotlin, and REST API/Backend Services
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and multi-tier architectures
- 2+ years of experience developing and operating services in one or more major cloud providers
