Work Hours: Standard Time (Team Sync-ups in PST)

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Location: 100% Remote - Candidates can work from anywhere in LATAM)
Position Overview

Seeking a QA Engineer/SQA Analyst to support large-scale Big Data product development. The team develops and maintains data-intensive applications operating in an on-premises environment (not AWS, Azure, or GCP) due to client data sensitivity requirements. The environment leverages Big Data frameworks and processes terabytes of data.

Top Requirements
- Experience testing Big Data applications, data platforms, or data-intensive products
- Strong manual testing experience at the application level
- Experience validating large datasets and complex data flows
- Ability to review and analyze business and technical requirements
- Strong defect tracking, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working closely with Product Owners, Developers, and global stakeholders




- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in distributed team environments

Responsibilities
- Create and contribute to test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data
- Review application specifications and requirements
- Execute manual application testing and analyze results
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
- Partner with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering teams to ensure quality objectives are met
- Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to support project delivery
