* Manage and oversee event implementation, timelines, and budgets.
* Oversee creative and logistical aspects, including themes, venues, décor, entertainment, AV, and catering.
* Design engaging events that meet objectives and budget requirements.
* Manage and negotiate with vendors, event companies, venues, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Coordinate with senior-level communicators, executives, and third-party service providers.
* Ensure event companies and vendors deliver projects according to scope, quality, and timelines.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers and partners.
* Track and manage the annual events budget.
* Lead the events team by prioritizing projects, tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
* Facilitate brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative event ideas.
* Perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager to improve departmental efficiency and performance.
* Ensure awareness of security requirements and relevant safeguarding policies.





Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business with emphases on Marketing & Public Relation or a related field
* 5 years’ experience in event planning/staging.
* Experience managing and developing various types of events.
* Experience with obtaining events sponsorship.
* Good communication and excellent English writing skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation).
* Good working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks.
* Strong administrative skills and background.
* Business relationship building skills.
* Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to details and keep to deadlines.
* Excellent knowledge of event sponsorships, communications, public relations, marketing processes.
