Founding Builder (Business) - Buenos Aires
easypeasy is an AI-first EdTech company. The systems that run our operation are built in-house. We provide live online English courses in Italy, Spain and Germany, and we are opening a small in-person hub in Buenos Aires with one of the founders.
We are hiring one person to join it. Not a department, not a role: a founder-type builder who can take a business problem, figure out what is actually going on, and fix it with whatever it takes.
What the job actually is
You get a problem, not a ticket. There are hundreds of them. You will not run out.
The problems live everywhere: sales, marketing, growth, operations.
For each of these, the work is:
- talk to the people involved
- pull the data, form a hypothesis
- test it cheaply
- build the thing that moves the number. Sometimes that is a new sales script, a growth experiment, or a partnership. Sometimes it is a spreadsheet and three phone calls. Sometimes it is a small tool you build with AI to remove manual work. You decide, and you own the result.
Who we are looking for
Early career, roughly 0 to 3 years out of university, with a business, economics, engineering, or consulting background. Beyond that, we care about four things, in this order:
1. You get things done. You have shipped real things end to end, not just at work: side projects with users, freelance clients, a student business, an internship where you owned outcomes. When something is broken you fix it without being asked. You do not need coaching to start moving.
2. You think in a structured way about business problems. Given a messy problem, you can break it down, say what you would measure,
and propose a concrete solution, not a list of ideas. The interview tests exactly this. Most candidates who fail, fail here.
3. You want this specific kind of life for the next few years. Long days at work, in person, next to a founder and other builders. Sport is fine; most of us train daily. Beyond work and sport there is not much room during the week, and you will say no to a lot of things. This is a trade: you give up balance for two to four years, you get compressed growth, real ownership and compensation well above the local market. Some people want that trade, most do not. Both are fine. Only apply if you do.
4. You use AI to build things, even without a formal engineering background. You have vibe-coded something real — a landing page, a small tool, a script that solved your own problem, an automation you wired together. Not just prompted a chatbot. You have shipped something. You already build with Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, Replit or similar and with LLM APIs. If you have your own AI setup running, we want to see it.
Also: clear communicator in English (spoken and written), and fluent Spanish for the local team. Half this job is understanding a problem before it becomes actionable.
Who this is NOT for
- IT IS NOT FOR YOU if you want to specialize deep in one area (pure marketing, pure sales, pure strategy). That is a great career. It is not this role.
- IT IS NOT FOR YOU if you have thought about building things with AI but never actually built anything. This role needs shipping, not talking about shipping.
- IT IS NOT FOR YOU if you are comfortable. Good corporate job, steady pace, weekends free. Nothing wrong with that. It is the opposite of this.
- IT IS NOT FOR YOU if you have a lot going on: part-time studies you cannot pause, a side business, a teaching job, three other projects. We have seen this profile not work. We need one focus.
What we offer
- Trial period: 6 months at EUR 2,500 per month (roughly USD 3,000). Both sides can stop at any point, no hard feelings.
- After the trial: if we continue together, a sign-on bonus of EUR 6,000-9,000 after the trial period. From there, compensation will be discussed.
- Tools: Claude subscription and access to the best models available, paid by us. We want you to max out usage.
- Setup: an office space in the city centre of Buenos Aires area. You work next to a co-founder and the other builders every day.
Tips for the interview process
The process will be tough - only 1% make it. So few tips for you as we want that you succeed:
- Come prepared: research what we do, bring questions. Candidates who show up passive do not move forward.
- Be in a quiet environment and quiet room
- Look professional as you need to interview in person to go into an office
- Relax and enjoy the conversation with the team
- Read again the job description and make sure you are aligned
