Finance & Accounting Operations Manager

JL Closets , South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Finance & Accounting Operations Manager to oversee our financial and accounting operations and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, responsible for keeping our financial and accounting operations accurate, organized, and efficient while helping us improve internal systems and processes. If you're experienced in finance and accounting, passionate about operational excellence, and enjoy leading people and improving processes, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of daily finance and accounting operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
- Oversee payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, bookkeeping, and other accounting activities
- Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Monitor budgets and cash flow to support informed business decisions
- Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records
- Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting workflows, financial systems, controls, and team processes
- Establish efficient procedures and accountability standards across finance and accounting operations




- Support leadership with financial analysis and operational insights that contribute to business growth

What You Bring

- 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
- Proven experience overseeing finance and accounting operations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and compliance
- Experience managing and developing remote teams
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset
- A leadership approach that balances accountability, coaching, and team development
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and consistently follow through
