Overview

We're seeking a senior accountant to own month-end close and higher-complexity accounting work across a portfolio of clients, including review-level financial statement engagements and light financial analysis. This role suits someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with limited oversight.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage monthly period-end close for assigned clients following a high-quality of work checklist and to US GAAP standards

- Prepare adjusting journal entries, including complex and non-routine entries





- Support and execute review-level financial statement engagements

- Reconcile accounts and ensure the accuracy and integrity of client financials

- Prepare and review 3-statement financial statements for clients

- Prepare brief financial analysis based on client financial statements leveraging integrated reporting tools

- Work directly with clients to facilitate successful completion of period close and other financial tasks

- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and flag issues for follow-up

Qualifications

- 4+ years of accounting experience working with U.S. GAAP, ideally in a public accounting or multi-client environment

- Strong experience with full-cycle close and complex journal entries

- Experience in a client-facing role managing direct communication and information-gathering correspondence on a regular basis

- Basic working knowledge of tax concepts for entities

- Experience managing a dynamic calendar with many ongoing engagements at the same time

- Experience with review and compilation engagements under (SSARS)

- Significant experience with and knowledge of U.S. GAAP

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred

- Fluency in English C1 - reading, writing, and speaking
