THE ROLE
DEPT® is looking for a Business Analyst who owns a workstream independently. A Senior Business Analyst at DEPT leads the translation of complex business needs into actionable product and technology solutions. They'll work across clients, strategists, product managers, designers, engineers, and QA teams,



to create alignment from discovery through delivery and ensure that solutions address the intended business and user outcomes, all with minimal oversight. Our business analysts move between clients, industries, and delivery models, balancing client expectations against delivery constraints while working inside multidisciplinary agency teams.
GenAI fluency is core to this role, and you'll be expected to use AI tools daily, including drafting requirements and user stories, summarizing discovery sessions, generating first-pass documentation, all while applying the judgment built through years or rigor to critically review and correct the output, rather than trusting it blindly. Additionally, a good candidate for this role should have a willingness to push the field forward, eager to create new ways of using these tools to build clarity for their teams.
