The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to own the accounting function end to end for US-based companies, covering accounting operations, financial reporting, close management, controls, and compliance.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate at both a strategic and detailed level. You will own the integrity of financial reporting while building the accounting function itself, setting standards, improving processes, managing stakeholders, supporting audits, and developing accounting teams.




You will work closely with US-based finance leaders and ensure that financial information is accurate, timely, compliant, and decision-ready.
What You'll Do
- Own the accounting function end to end, including the general ledger, AP, AR, reconciliations, and close
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process and hold the team to the close calendar
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial statements
- Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with US GAAP
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and management reports
- Define and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures
- Monitor balance sheet integrity and ensure outstanding issues are resolved
- Own the audit relationship, coordinate audit readiness, and manage external auditors
- Support tax, compliance, and regulatory reporting requir
