Our client, an established and dynamic farming operation located approximately 40 km outside Ceres in the Warm Bokkeveld, offers an excellent opportunity for a Junior Production Manager . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting a production unit comprising approximately 50 hectares of apples and pears , as well as 30 hectares of onions .

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and coordinate apple and pear production.
- Manage and coordinate onion production.
- Ensure product and production quality in accordance with prescribed standards.
- Supervise, lead, and develop production staff.
- Implement and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate production records and prepare timely reports.
- Plan, organise, and monitor daily production activities.
- Manage resources efficiently to achieve production targets.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.




- A tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be advantageous.
- Experience in apple and pear production.
- Experience in onion production will be a strong advantage.
- Good computer literacy (MS Office).
- A valid driver's licence.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Strong leadership qualities, a proactive approach, and the ability to take initiative.
- Good planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
