ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Oak Bartender is responsible for serving guests at our front bars and fulfilling drink orders for the dining room, monitoring the cash drawer at the bar and performing alcohol inventories at the end of each night to help in maintaining proper inventory levels. Always presents a friendly and professional image at the Hotel/Casino. The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
- Provides impeccable guest service to all guests
- Observes and reports any and all unsafe behavior displayed by internal and external guests.
- Greets and seats guests,



presents menus to guests, informs them of promotions and specials.
- Treats all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strives to exceed guests' expectations.
- Monitors guest's consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
- Prepares and pours drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe, communicates with beverage servers, and presents drinks to guests or servers as required.
- Ensures the bar is adequately stocked thought out shift.
- Completes all assigned opening and closing check lists.
- Operates a cash register/POS System, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash and charge sales according to established procedure. Checks out with leadership before leaving shift.
