The analyst works directly with the Tax Operations Group and CFM teams in the Intercompany area. The Analyst monitors and investigates global engagements with multiple billing arrangements and posts intercompany journals if needed.
The following is an example of activities and is not comprehensive:
- Review the set-up of local billing structures on engagements
- Liaise with various finance groups (CFM, CDTS, Country Controllership, Global Tax, etc.) to ensure local billing structures follow existing policies and procedures
- Prepare engagement reports by legal entity
- Based on engagement review, propose and record intercompany journal entries
- Provide support to Country Controllership related to the impact of intercompany adjustments
- Prepare engagement results by legal entity to support audit requests or local statutory year end requirements
- Continue to implement processes using automation tools to better align with customer requirements
- Develop and implement integral practices and procedures for intercompany transactions
- Prepare and present training on complex engagements on as needed basis
Requirements:
- Strong oral and written English language skills
- Working knowledge of business and finance fundamentals
- Organizational, analytical, prioritization, multi-tasking skills
- Attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Working towards a University degree in accounting or finance
