Ecolab is looking for a Capital Systems Analyst that will be responsible for supporting the management, automation, and continuous improvement of capital expenditure (Capex) processes and systems (primarily ETQ and Power BI) within the Central Engineering Department. This role partners closely with engineering, finance, and analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and process optimization across global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Planning & Financial Analysis
- Lead and support annual capital planning and forecasting in collaboration with engineering and operating teams.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting on historical trends, actual results, and key financial KPIs to drive performance in capital execution.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly financial analysis to understand drivers of project and market performance.
- Investigate and communicate detailed drivers of operational performance and spending across GSC (Integral Supply Chain).

Capex Systems Management & Process Improvement




- Serve as the primary owner for the capital project execution and auditing systems working with stakeholders to develop improvements and streamline workflows.
- Support the transition to semi-automatic ETQ uploads for monthly spend, including data formatting, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the assessment of EBS locations versus manual ETQ uploads for actual monthly spend.
- Partner with analytics teams (e.g., Pune data analytics) for technical enhancements and reporting automation.

CAR (Capital Authorization Request) Processing & Governance
- Oversee CAR (Capital Authorization Request) processing in ETQ, including reviewing plant/site approvals, ensuring consistency across templates, and troubleshooting issues.
- Act as a gatekeeper for CRB (Capital Review Board) phase, ensuring all action items and documents are completed and uploaded.
