Wholesale Credit Risk assesses, permissions, and manages credit and counterparty risks on an industry, client, geographic, and transaction basis. Credit Risk is independent within Corporate Risk Management, reporting to the firm's Chief Risk Officer (CRO). Our practices are designed to preserve the independence and integrity of decision making. The teams are generally organized by industry and work closely with coverage and product groups to support business needs. The Analyst will utilize their superior analytical skills, combined with credit and industry knowledge, to make and support credit decisions for a portfolio of clients.



They collaborate across credit risk and the business teams to meet client credit requests, while balancing the risk-return needs of the Firm. They constantly monitor their portfolio to accurately assign risk ratings to clients and facilities, while ensuring a robust culture of compliance is adhered to at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct credit analysis and help a deal team seek approval for lending and trading related transactions, including operating exposures, individually or as part of a deal team
- Create written credit approval documents, which include the spreading and presentation of historical financial statement information and the related financial analysis, as well as projections of future cash flows for large corporate borrowers
- Develop a well-informed and forward-looking view of the business, financial and competitive risks associated with a company and sector
- Manage and monitor a portfolio of client credit exp
