The Industry Stress Team is part of the broader Wholesale Credit Stress Team (WCST), which falls within JP Morgan's Risk organization. The team is responsible for the methodologies involved in the firm's wholesale stress testing frameworks. Specifically, the team contributes to stress forecasting exercises, such as CCAR and Risk Appetite, which a focus on distilling results by industry segment and understanding key drivers of loss. The team is also involved in ad-hoc projects focusing the analysis of emergent risks to the firm's loan portfolios. The team is closely aligned with firmwide partners including Reporting, Finance, Quantitative Research, Technology and the Regulatory Capital Management Office.



WCST work is regularly presented to the JPMorgan's Board of Directors and Operating Committee, and is also leveraged for external constituents, including the Firm's investors and regulators.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math or related area
- 0 to 3 years experience for Analyst position; internship and/or prior experience in financial services or Risk is desirable
- Communicates effectively - both oral and written; quantitative and analytical in nature
- Experience in econometric and statistical modeling for loss and interest income forecasting, risk management, or volume forecasting is preferred
- Ability to effectively present analysis and interact with key stakeholders; build rapport and influence change
- Ability to work both in a team/ collaborative environment to solve problems and have a strong sense of individual accountability and ownership of responsibilities
