Data Engineer / SQL Developer (Low-Code Integration)
About the Role
At Band of Coders, we are looking for a data-focused Developer to join a strategic project that can work directly with a CTO. The core of this position is managing complex data structures and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Data Mastery: Manage, optimize, and write complex MSSQL queries and database structures.
ETL Pipelines: Design and supervise data extraction, transformation, and loading processes for large datasets.
Low-Code Development: Actively learn and implement solutions using Zudy Vinyl or Jitterbit App-Builder (we value the ability to bridge traditional data logic with rapid-deployment tools).
AWS Support: Handle basic cloud administration, including IAM (user management), S3 buckets, monitoring, and basic security settings.
Collaboration: Work closely with the fCTO to translate business logic into technical data flows.
Technical Requirements (The "Must-Haves")
Expert SQL Skills: Advanced proficiency in MSSQL is the top priority (complex queries, data integrity,
and optimization).
ETL Experience: Solid track record of building and maintaining robust data pipelines.
The "Zudy" Drive: A genuine interest in learning and working with Zudy Vinyl or similar platforms. You don't need to know it yet, but you must want to master it.
AWS Foundations: Ability to manage users, security, and storage (S3/IAM/Monitoring). No certifications required; practical, intermediate knowledge is sufficient.
Language: Fluent English for real-time collaboration with US-based teams.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points)
Telecom Experience: Background in Telecom billing data is a huge plus but not a mandatory requirement.
Platform Familiarity: Any prior experience with Zudy Vinyl, Jitterbit, or similar low-code/no-code app builders.
Engagement & Growth
Initial Commitment: 40 hours per month to start.
Location: Remote (Overlap with US Eastern Time is required).
