As the Data Center Engineerat EdgeUno, you will play a pivotal role in managing the colocation facilities primarily located in the Points of Presence (POPs) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We are seeking a qualified professional to oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment, ensuring continuous improvement in capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in data center operations, availability for on-call shifts (24/7),



and a willingness to travel when necessary.

Core Responsibilities

Equipment Installation & Maintenance:
- Rack, stack, and cable IT equipment, including servers, network devices, and rack PDUs.
- Implement and maintain structured cable management best practices.
- Assist with the deployment of Rack/MOR cabling, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Layer 1 and 2 troubleshooting for network devices and servers.

Infrastructure & Facility Management:
- Maintain and update the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Support Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) activities.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the data center environment.
- Conduct physical audits of data center assets.

IT Equipment Handling & Security:
- Decommission IT equipment securely, including DBD removal and hard drive shredding.
- Move locked DBD bins to designated shared areas.
- Support audit and inventory man
