Quality Inspector – 1st Shift | Santa Fe Springs, CA | $40.50/hr | Temp-to-Hire

[Responsibilities]
- Perform detailed inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished components using advanced measurement and testing equipment, including CMM operation and setup
- Verify SPC data for final part acceptance and ensure accurate documentation through MES systems
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve quality issues and recommend improvements
- Inspect returned goods, identify discrepancies, and generate required reports and certificates of conformance
- Maintain proper segregation and documentation of nonconforming materials




- Develop and implement inspection instructions as needed
- Adhere to all company policies, safety, and regulatory requirements while maintaining focus on quality and productivity

[Required Skills and Experience]
- High School diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical education in a related discipline is valued
- At least 2 years of experience with general measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, depth indicators)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow detailed policies, instructions, and procedures
- US Person status required

[Preferred Skills]
- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;)
- Experience with calibration of precision measuring equipment
- Basic to intermediate math skills (geometry, basic trigonometry)
- Proficiency with computers and MS Office/Excel
