Insurance Claims Collections Specialist

Salary: $1,300 USD / month
Location: Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala and Argentina
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, U.S. business hours

About the Role

We’re looking for a Collections Specialist to take ownership of one key goal: getting our clients paid.

This is not a traditional AR or administrative role. It’s a hands-on, phone-focused collections position where you’ll actively follow up with insurance carriers and homeowners to recover outstanding payments.

You’ll be responsible for managing collections from start to finish, communicating confidently with customers and insurance companies, following up consistently, and pushing accounts toward resolution.

This is a results-driven role, with a clear collections quota and one primary KPI: successful collections.

What You'll Do

Make outbound calls and send emails to insurance carriers and clients to follow up on outstanding payments




Verify insurance coverage on a job before pursuing collection
Gather the documentation required to support and collect on a file
Follow up persistently and consistently until payment is issued
Defend the estimate when a carrier pushes back review line items and argue them with the adjuster using appropriate code references

What You Need

Proven collections experience actively recovering outstanding payments.
Insurance claims experience comfortable with claims terminology and carrier processes.
Estimate knowledge able to review estimates and defend line items with adjusters.
Strong English communication confident and professional on the phone; this is a talking job.
Experience with DASH, Encircle, Xactimate, or DocuSketch is a plus.
Strong written English clear and professional email communication.
