About the Role

We are seeking a highly ownership-driven Data Engineerto join a fast-growing startup building machine learning SaaS solutions for financial analysis, M&A; advisory, and operational optimization.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the data infrastructure and integration layer that powers machine learning systems used by hedge funds, private equity firms, and large enterprise customers.

This is a high-impact position where you will work directly with the founder,



owning data pipelines, integrations, and infrastructure that enable scalable machine learning workflows. You will operate in a fast-moving startup environment, solving real-world integration challenges across diverse and often complex customer systems.

Key Responsibilities

Data Pipelines & Integration
- Design and implement automated data pipelines connecting to customer systems, including banking platforms, POS systems, APIs, and legacy databases
- Build scalable ETL/ELT workflows to transform raw data into machine learning-ready formats
- Integrate with diverse and often poorly documented backend systems
- Implement data quality validation, monitoring, and sanity checks across customer datasets
- Handle structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
