UI/UX Designer

You’ll be designing for legal professionals who manage hundreds of active cases at once, where clarity, trust, and data security aren’t nice-to-haves – they’re the product.

LegalSight is looking for a UI/UX Designer with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent demonstrated impact) who is a self-starter and strong collaborator, with the ability to design solutions for complex, data-dense web applications.

Working hours: Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM Eastern Standard Time (U.S. time zone).

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain style guides.




Translate hypotheses and requirements into concepts - user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
Develop design specifications and proof-of-concept solutions in response to business needs.
Produce solutions through flow diagrams, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps.
Incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams (product, development, sales, operations, etc.).
Make and defend design decisions to various stakeholders across the business.
Collaborate with other design team members on shared designs and flows.

Requirements:
Expertise in Figma (component libraries, auto-layout, variables)
Experience working with online whiteboarding and project management software.
Strong background in iterative design.
Build and use design systems via asset creation and maintenance.
Understand and design for the distinct needs of different user roles (Project Manager, Vendor, Client, Sales).
