POSITION SUMMARY

Currently, we are seeking a technically fluent and strategically minded Backend Capability Product Specialist to own the backend platform, API ecosystem, and third-party integration layer of our SaaS product suite. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, business strategy,



and market intelligence — driving the development of scalable, interoperable systems that power both internal capabilities and external partner integrations.

The idóneo candidate combines deep SaaS platform expertise with a data-driven approach to prioritization — balancing market trends, ROI potential, and customer needs to build a backend that is a competitive differentiator. Experience with Healthcare technology, EHR/EMR systems, and health data interoperability standards is highly valued.

Expectations For The Role

Backend Platform & API Strategy
- Own the product roadmap for backend systems, APIs, and data platform capabilities
- Define API design standards, versioning strategies, and developer experience (DX) principles
- Drive the vision for a scalable, event-driven microservices architecture in collaboration with engineering leads
- Establish and govern API governance frameworks including authentication, rate limiting, and SLA commitmen
