We are seeking a Lead Data Software Engineer (Java+GCP) to drive the design and implementation of scalable data solutions. In this role, you will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data engineering products on the Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of data software solutions using Java and GCP
Architect scalable and reliable data pipelines on Databricks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical requirements
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering team members
Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices and standards enforcement
Optimize SQL queries and data processing workflows for performance
Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions across data engineering projects
Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English to align on project goals

Requirements

5+ years of experience in data software engineering
Proficiency in Java and SQL
Expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Databricks




Capability to design and lead complex data engineering initiatives
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
