We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented AES Track & Trace / Documentation Specialist to support our operations team with shipment tracking, export documentation, AES filings, and customer communication.

Position Overview

The AES Track & Trace / Documentation Specialist will be responsible for monitoring export shipments, updating shipment milestones, coordinating with carriers and terminals, preparing/exporting shipping documentation, and ensuring AES compliance.

This role is ideal for someone with freight forwarding, logistics coordination, export documentation, or international shipping experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesShipment Tracking & Coordination




- Monitor ocean and air export shipments from origin to destination
- Track cargo movement through carrier websites, terminals, airlines, and port systems
- Update shipment milestones and internal systems accurately
- Proactively identify delays, holds, rollovers, or routing issues
- Coordinate with trucking companies, warehouses, steamship lines, airlines, and overseas agents
- Provide shipment status updates to customers and internal teams

AES Filing & Export Compliance
- Prepare and submit AES filings through the Automated Export System (AES)
- Verify commercial invoice and shipment data for filing accuracy
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and documentation requirements
- Assist with resolving AES filing errors and compliance issues
- Maintain organized records of export documentation
