About The Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Estimator to take ownership of the estimating workflow and help ensure projects move smoothly from scope to proposal.

In this role, you will take project and scope information provided by the team and translate it into accurate, well-structured estimates and proposals. You will manage the estimating process within JobTread, prepare estimates based on the information received, coordinate reviews, and help ensure proposals are completed and sent out on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong estimating skills who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a workflow in a growing pool and spa company.

Key Responsibilities

- Review project scope and information provided by the sales and project teams.

- Prepare accurate and well-structured estimates based on project requirements.

- Manage the estimating workflow within JobTread.

- Create and update estimates and proposals promptly.

- Coordinate estimate reviews and make necessary adjustments before finalizing proposals.

- Ensure proposals are complete, accurate, and professionally presented.

- Track estimating tasks and follow up on outstanding information when needed.

- Maintain organized project and estimating records.

- Communicate with internal team members to clarify project scope, pricing, and requirements.

- Help ensure estimating does not become a bottleneck for the sales team.

- Take ownership of the estimating process from initial scope information through completed proposal.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience as an estimator, preferably in pool, spa,



construction, remodeling, landscaping, or a related industry.

- Strong understanding of project scope, materials, labor, and pricing.

- Experience creating estimates and proposals.

- Experience with JobTread is strongly preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned processes.

- Ability to learn and work within established software systems and workflows.

- Experience with Structure Studios is a plus.

- Familiarity with Outlook and Slack is a plus.

- Estimates are accurate, complete, and delivered on time.

- Proposals are consistently prepared and sent without unnecessary delays.

- JobTread estimating workflows are organized and up to date.

- Project information is accurately translated into estimates.

- Questions or missing information are identified and addressed quickly.

- The sales team can rely on the estimating process without having to manage it themselves.

- You take full ownership of the estimating workflow and help make it more efficient over time.

Schedule

- Monday through Friday

- 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM ET

- Potentially one Saturday per month

- Standard U.S. holidays

- 10 business days of PTO annually

Compensation

Salary: USD $2,000 to $2,200 per month, depending on experience.

Contractor

Agreement.
