What you can expect
Field Service Assistant (Trainee) prepares, executes and supervises the entire field service with all required activities and is the main contact person towards the customer on-site.
Main Responsibilities
- Timely onsite preparation and shipping of inspection tools and equipment to workshops or other sites in cooperation with SCM
- Coordination and detailed time planning of required personnel, equipment, and mobilization (incl. travel and accommodation details)
- Performing HSE risk assessment onsite
- Verifying the given tool specifications versus the operation conditions
- Tracking the tool in operation together with the operators’ staff
- Assessing tool condition, report any damages and order needed spare-parts
- Preparing tool demobilization
- Checking any equipment used on-site and reporting any damages
- Carrying out all activities in accordance with the ROSEN Quality & HSE guidelines and instructions
- Creating reports on work progress, tool conditions, and onsite daily activities
- Deliver final reports, if applicable
- On-site customer communication
What you will bring
- Previous experience in field-based activities, industrial services, maintenance, construction, logistics, or similar operational environments is desirable (for example industrial, offshore, maritime, aviation, transportation).
- Availability to travel extensively and work at customer sites for extended periods when required.
- Interest in developing a career in field operations and technical services.
- Hands-on profile with willingness to support field activities and learn from experienced technicians.
- Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments while following safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and routine administrative activities.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and openness to receiving training and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, priorities, and work environments.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and compliance with company procedures.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electromechanical equipment is an advantage.
- Technical education in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Electronics, or related areas is a plus, but not required.
- Intermediate English.
