Film Scene Description Specialist (AI Training)

We're looking for Film Scene Description Specialists to watch short video clips and translate what they see into precise, structured visual descriptions — helping cutting-edge AI systems learn how scenes are composed, paced, and emotionally conveyed.

This is a fully remote, adaptable contract role open to anyone with a genuine eye for visual storytelling. No professional film industry experience required — just a sharp sense of how images, movement, and framing work together to tell a story.

What You'll Do

- Watch short film or video clips and break them down into structured, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
- Describe camera movement, framing, blocking, pacing, and mood with precision
- Communicate tone and emotional atmosphere through purely visual indicators — no dialogue references
- Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce consistent scene summaries and beat breakdowns
- Maintain high quality and consistency across a large volume of scene descriptions




- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

- Genuinely interested in film, television, or visual storytelling
- Able to articulate what you see on screen with clarity and specificity
- Strong structured writing skills with an eye for detail
- Comfortable re-watching clips to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No professional film or media experience required

Nice to Have

- Background in film studies, media production, photography, or screenwriting
- Experience writing visual or creative content at scale
- Familiarity with cinematography concepts such as shot types, composition, or mise-en-scène
