Investment Banking Analyst – Client & Investor Relations

The Post Oak Group is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst – Client & Investor Relations to join our Investment Banking division.

This role is focused primarily on supporting the firm’s relationships with clients and investors throughout active transactions. The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers and deal teams to coordinate communications, manage follow-ups, prepare transaction updates, organize meetings, respond to information requests, and ensure clients and investors receive timely and professional support.

The role also includes financial analysis and modeling responsibilities in support of active transactions. The idóneo candidate combines excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong understanding of investment banking, financial statements, valuation, and transaction execution.

Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day relationships with the firm’s investment banking clients and investors
- Coordinate client and investor communications, updates, follow-ups, and information requests
- Assist senior bankers with managing client relationships and transaction-related communications
- Help manage investor relationships throughout active transactions
- Coordinate client and investor meetings, scheduling, materials, and follow-up items
- Prepare professional emails, client updates, meeting summaries, and other transaction communications
- Track investor activity, client deliverables, transaction progress, and outstanding action items
- Maintain organized records across multiple active engagements and ensure timely follow-through
- Assist clients and investors with administrative and transaction-related requests




- Provide execution and administrative support to senior members of the Investment Banking division
- Review company financial statements and other transaction materials
- Build and review financial models, projections, and transaction analyses as needed
- Assist with valuation and financial analysis
- Prepare assumptions, projections, and sensitivity analyses
- Review financial information and models for accuracy and consistency
- Support other transaction execution activities as required

Requirements

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional and client-service-oriented communication style
- Strong understanding of investment banking, transactions, and corporate finance
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple clients, investors, meetings, and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through
- Ability to communicate professionally with business owners, executives, investors, and senior bankers
- Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Working knowledge of valuation methodologies and financial analysis
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate financial information
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Previous investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, transaction advisory, investor relations, or similar financial-services experience strongly preferred
- Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM–6:00 PM U.S. Central Time
- Must be available to start immediately
