About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team and support our growing digital asset and OTC trading business.

Based in the LATAM region and reporting to our Business Manager in Canada, you will provide operational coverage across North American working hours while supporting a broad range of business activities across trading operations, client servicing, reconciliations, compliance coordination, reporting, systems, and process improvement.

While supporting cryptocurrency OTC trades and settlements will be an important part of the role, this is not a settlement-only position. As trading activity continues to grow in the region, you will also support day-to-day business operations, operational controls, client onboarding, counterparty management, internal reporting, system enhancements, and new business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of cryptocurrency OTC trades, including trade execution support, settlement, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Provide operational coverage during LATAM and North American working hours and ensure smooth handover across general teams.
- Work closely with the Business Manager, sales, compliance, finance, and technology teams on day-to-day business and operational matters.
- Coordinate with clients, counterparties, exchanges, custodians, banks, and liquidity providers to support trade execution and settlement.
- Monitor outstanding trades, balances, transfers, and operational exceptions, and resolve or escalate issues promptly.
- Perform regular reconciliation of fiat and digital asset balances and maintain accurate trade and settlement records.
- Support client onboarding, KYC/KYB administration, and ongoing account maintenance in coordination with the Compliance team.




- Assist with counterparty onboarding and maintain relevant settlement instructions, documentation, and operational records.
- Prepare operational and business reports, maintain dashboards, and support the Business Manager with analysis, research, and ad hoc projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and work with technology teams on system enhancements, testing, and implementation.
- Maintain and improve SOPs, operational controls, checklists, and handover procedures.
- Support new products, digital assets, counterparties, and other business initiatives as the company grows.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or another relevant discipline.
- Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience in operations, financial services, trading support, fintech, digital assets, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently during regional hours while collaborating closely with managers and colleagues across different time zones.
- Comfortable communicating with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
- Strong interest in financial markets, trading, fintech, blockchain, or digital assets.
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency markets, OTC trading, blockchain transactions, or financial operations is an advantage but not required.
- Comfortable working with data, spreadsheets, and operational systems.
- Fluent English is required. Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly desirable. Additional languages are an advantage.
