Job Summary:



The AP Manager I will work with AP practitioners ensuring that all processes related to the day to day processing of accounts payable transactions and payment are executed appropriately. The Accounts Payable Manager will operate as the subject matter expert and escalation point to resolve issues and continuously looks for improvements in operational processes. Will be responsible for effective management of the region AP team to include coaching, counseling and implements workable solutions to business issues/problems. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.





Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



- Serve as AP Manager be



- tween FieldCore Sourcing teams and GE Shared Service (APEX) center

- Responsible for day to day management of region AP team

- Develop and implement processes to ensure effective reconciliation of open payable items and concerns globally.

- Drive effective resolution and closure of items open in APEX Perceptive system, global responsibility

- Work with sourcing team to facilitate accurate onboarding of suppliers/ vendors

- Responsible for the preparation of AP monthly aging reports on subledgers globally

- Submit new AP Supplier Request forms to the Sourcing department as needed

- Perform vendor account research

- Audit supporting documentation to ensure accuracy of invoice charges

- Initiate vendor payments through Webcash and/or banking systems

- Support funding requirements to all FieldCore locations

- Serve as indirect manager for region-based Accounts Payable teams

- Support auditing review requests

- Perform other duties as assigned

- Travel may be required

- English and Portuguese proficiency required

- Manage and develop employees





Required Qualifications & Experience:



- 6+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge

- 3+ years of specialized/industry experience 2+ years managing and developing employees

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

- Experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience

- English and Portuguese proficiency required
