We are looking for a Business Systems Support Specialist to join our globally distributed team!

The idóneo candidate will bring strong accounting and business systems experience, excellent attention to detail, and a proven ability to troubleshoot issues, support end users, and improve operational processes.

What You'll Do

- Provide frontline support for system-related requests through the Helpdesk, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of user issues.
- Investigate and correct resident ledger discrepancies.
- Audit Accounts Receivable reports and partner with Community Managers, Regional Property Managers, and Accounting teams to identify and resolve reporting discrepancies.
- Troubleshoot business system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Train and support end users on system functionality, best practices, and process improvements.
- Assist with data management activities, including data entry, validation, maintenance, and reporting.
- Support system enhancements, testing, implementations, and business process improvements.
- Create and maintain documentation, procedures, and knowledge-sharing resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational workflows and system utilization.
- Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.




- Develop coverage plans and ensure continuity of support during planned absences.
- Work independently while managing multiple requests, priorities, and projects.
- Support the Director of Business Systems with special projects, strategic initiatives, and other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring

- Education in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related fields is a plus.
- 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Accounting, bookkeeping, property accounting, or property management experience.
- Experience supporting business systems, ERP platforms, software applications, or helpdesk operations preferred.
- Experience within the real estate or property management industry preferred.
- Experience with Yardi software is highly desirable but not required.
- Experience with other ERP, accounting, or property management platforms such as NetSuite, MRI, AppFolio, Entrata, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar systems is strongly valued.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and a customer-focused approach.
