Ads Manager (Paid Media Specialist)

About Us:

Silicium Laboratories develops specialized, science-backed, patented silicon-based dietary supplements, distributed primarily through online channels in the U.S. and European markets.

We are hiring an Ads Manager (Paid Media Specialist) to take full ownership of our paid media engine across Europe. Beyond running Google and Meta campaigns, you will own the attribution infrastructure that tells us the truth about performance, build the funnels that turn spend into revenue, and generate the intelligence that keeps us ahead. Every euro is measured against profit, and every decision is expected to hold up under executive scrutiny.

You will operate inside a rigorous, centrally governed marketing system — but within it, performance is yours to own. We move fast, decide with data, and value results over activity. This role rewards autonomy, sharp analytical thinking, and accountability to a real number.

Important – Work Schedule & Availability:

This position requires a minimum daily overlap of 4 hours with European business hours (Spain time) to coordinate with executive management, internal teams, and external partners.

Compensation & Bonus Eligibility

Annual Total Compensation Range: USD $24,000 – $30,000 gross, inclusive of bonuses, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Bonus Potential

Upon satisfactory completion of the first 180 days and based on goals agreed with your manager in the performance planning process, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. This bonus forms part of the total compensation range above, and eligibility, structure, and payout are contingent on achieved results and overall business performance.

Job Summary The Ads Manager owns the execution, optimization, and performance control of all paid digital advertising across European markets, within a defined marketing system and budget framework.

The role extends beyond campaign management: you own the measurement and attribution infrastructure behind performance decisions, build the conversion assets (funnels and landing pages) campaigns drive traffic to, and generate the competitive intelligence that informs creative and channel decisions. You will not define brand positioning or overall strategy, but you own execution, experimentation, attribution integrity, and acquisition efficiency. Requires structured analytical thinking, comfort managing budgets against profitability, and the ability to communicate performance insights at an executive level.

Role Scope and Accountability

1. Paid media execution quality and structural discipline
2. Budget control, pacing, and reallocation decisions
3. Attribution integrity, tracking infrastructure, and dashboard reliability
4. Structured experimentation and scaling logic
5. Revenue and margin efficiency (ROAS, POAS, CPA, CAC/LTV balance)
6. Conversion asset construction (funnels and landing pages)
7. Competitive and market intelligence across paid channels and marketplaces
8. Identification of performance risks and inefficiencies

Key Responsibilities

1. Paid Media Execution

- Set up, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads.

- Manage Merchant Center and Shopping/PMax feeds — resolving disapprovals, optimizing attributes, and controlling brand exclusion/cannibalization.
- Maintain clean, scalable account structures with structured tagging and naming conventions.
- Execute campaigns to approved budgets and timelines.

Primary platforms are Google Ads and Meta Ads. Additional channels (TikTok Shopping, YouTube, Amazon Ads, AI-driven placements) may be added, and you are expected to own them as they come online.

2. Performance Optimization & Scaling

- Monitor and optimize CPC, CPA, ROAS, POAS, CVR, AOV, and acquisition cost trends.
- Evaluate against margin and profitability, not just platform-reported returns — calculate CAC, ROAS break-even, POAS, and LTV from margin data and challenge a "good ROAS" that doesn't hold up.
- Detect creative fatigue via frequency, CTR decay, CPM inflation, and CVR patterns.
- Distinguish promotional spikes from stable performance.
- Define scaling frameworks based on statistical stability, not short-term fluctuations.

3. Structured Experimentation

- Own a structured experimentation roadmap; design hypotheses, prioritize, and analyze outcomes.
- Run A/B tests across creative, audiences, bidding, and funnel stages.
- Maintain a documented learning log and translate results into scalable decisions.

Optimization must be systematic and evidence-based, not reactive.

4. Budget Control, Allocation & Reallocation

- Manage monthly budgets against profitability targets with disciplined pacing.
- Monitor deviations early, propose corrective actions, and prevent inefficient concentration or saturation.
- Produce reallocation and scaling proposals with projected revenue/margin impact for sign-off.

5. Tracking, Attribution & Dashboard Ownership

- Build and maintain the paid-media dashboard, consolidating ad platforms, analytics, eCommerce, and CRM into a single source of truth.
- Own the measurement stack: conversion tracking, server-side tracking (GTM), GA4, multi-touch attribution, and platform-to-eCommerce data flows.
- Diagnose and resolve tracking discrepancies (GA4 vs. platform vs. store data, purchase revenue vs. inflated conversion value) to root cause, not symptom.
- Maintain market partitioning (Europe vs. other markets) for clean geographic reads.

Performance decisions must be based on clean, validated data.

6. Funnel & Landing Page Construction

- Design and build landing pages, advertorials, and funnels by stage (TOFU/MOFU/BOFU), aligned to promotions.
- Ensure tracking and attribution are integrated into every asset.
- Produce and brief funnel-stage creatives (UGC, AI-generated video/reels, static) and manage the refresh pipeline.

7. Competitive & Market Intelligence

- Run structured competitor analysis across paid channels (Meta Ad Library, active ads) and marketplaces.
- Produce product, positioning, and pricing teardowns,

and translate them into creative angles and channel decisions.

8. Reporting & Analytical Rigor

- Produce weekly performance reports with clear reads and decisions.
- Deliver a monthly executive report and QBR-ready quarterly analysis (KPIs, new ads, UGC, dashboards) built around drivers, decisions, risks, and next actions — no vanity metrics.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and scaling opportunities; analyze revenue stability outside promotions and platform concentration risk.

9. Operational Coordination

- Align priorities with the Marketing Manager within the centrally governed system.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and creative to align messaging with brand and product positioning.
- Deploy approved creative, give structured feedback, and maintain execution discipline, account stability, and documented playbooks.

Performance Evaluation (KPIs) Evaluated on performance efficiency, acquisition economics, revenue sustainability, and analytical rigor: Revenue from Paid Media · ROAS · POAS · CPA · CVR · CPC · AOV · Customer Acquisition Efficiency (New vs Returning) · Budget Utilization Accuracy · Revenue Stability Outside Promotions · Promotional Dependency Ratio · Platform Revenue Contribution · Attribution & Dashboard Reliability · Reporting Quality & Analytical Depth · Operational Execution Consistency.

Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years hands-on paid media management.
- Proven Google Ads and Meta Ads experience in eCommerce — structure, testing, and scaling.
- Hands-on Merchant Center and Shopping/PMax management, including feed troubleshooting and brand exclusion/cannibalization control.
- Fluency with profitability metrics (CAC, ROAS break-even, POAS, LTV) calculated from margin data, not platform-reported numbers.
- Experience owning performance dashboards and attribution/tracking, including diagnosing GTM/analytics discrepancies.
- Experience building funnels and landing pages, and producing or briefing funnel-stage creatives.
- Strong grasp of acquisition economics.

Preferred Qualifications

- Mid-to-large budget and multi-country / European account management.
- Funnel optimization, lifecycle advertising, and cross-platform/server-side attribution.
- UGC and creative production coordination.
- TikTok Shopping and/or YouTube Ads, or willingness to own them short-term.
- Consumer health, supplements, or Natural Products Industry background.

Education

- Degree or professional training in marketing, digital marketing, analytics, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
- Google Ads, Meta, and/or Amazon Ads certifications are a plus.

Skills & Competencies

- Deep analytical curiosity and comfort interpreting attribution models and testing frameworks.
- Ability to build structured analyses beyond surface metrics.
- Hands-on with the stack: dashboards, GA4, GTM/server-side, Merchant Center, CRM (e.g., HubSpot), eCommerce (e.g., Shopify), attribution, and automation tools.
- High attention to detail, execution discipline, and a margin-focused, results-driven mindset.
- Able to work independently and remotely, manage multiple campaigns, and adapt to changing priorities.
