Financial Operations Lead - Remote

JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Financial Operations Lead to oversee our financial operations and help lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll play an important role in keeping our financial operations accurate, organized, and efficient while helping improve internal systems and providing financial insights that support strategic growth.

If you’re experienced in accounting, enjoy working with people and processes, and are comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and organized
- Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
- Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
- Prepare monthly financial reports and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Monitor budgets and cash flow to support smarter business decisions
- Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
- Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes




- Establish and maintain efficient procedures to improve accuracy and accountability across the finance function

What You Bring

- 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong knowledge of reconciliations, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance
- Experience managing remote teams and working independently
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions
- Leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
