Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Support Engineer with handson experience supporting Evertz MediatorX environments in broadcast media and entertainment ecosystems The adecuado candidate will possess strong expertise in Java Python JavaScript troubleshooting complex media workflows application support automation development and production incident management The engineer will be responsible for ensuring high availability performance and operational excellence of MediatorX based media asset management MAM workflow orchestration playout content processing and delivery platforms

Key Responsibilities

Application Product Support

Provide L2L3 support for Evertz MediatorX platform across media asset management workflow automation content lifecycle and distribution workflows

Monitor production environments and proactively identify potential issues before business impact occurs

Troubleshoot platform workflow integration metadata ingest transcoding and distributionrelated issues

Perform root cause analysis RCA and implement permanent corrective actions

Manage tickets SLAs incident response change requests and problem management activities

Coordinate with broadcasters operations teams engineering teams and Evertz support teams during major incidents

Development Automation

Develop support tools monitoring utilities and automation scripts using o Java o Python o JavaScript





Automate operational tasks to improve system reliability and reduce manual effort

Develop integrations between MediatorX and external systems using APIs and web services

Support enhancements defect fixes and workflow optimization initiatives

Workflow Integration Support

Support media workflows involving o Content Ingest o Asset Management o Metadata Management o Media Processing o Transcoding o Distribution o Playout Operations

Troubleshoot integrations with o MAM systems o CMS platforms o Transcoding systems o Storage platforms o Cloud services o Scheduling systems o Broadcast automation systems

Operational Excellence

Participate in oncall rotation and major incident management

Create and maintain SOPs runbooks knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides

Drive continuous service improvements and reduction of recurring incidents

Support platform upgrades deployments patching and release validation activities

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory

Handson experience supporting Evertz MediatorX

Strong programming experience in o Java o Python o JavaScript

Experience with REST APIs and Web Services

SQL and database troubleshooting

LinuxUnix administration fundamentals

Relevant experience in Media Entertainment Broadcast OTT or Digital Media organizations
