About the Role

This is a Junior Role. Our client, a confidential company running a large-scale mining project in Jujuy, Argentina, is looking for a Camp Coordinator to support daily camp and pilot plant operations. Reporting to the Operations/Camp Manager, the role coordinates operational tasks, camp services, and supplier documentation across departments and contractors in a high-altitude field environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day administration and operation of the camp and pilot plant facilities.
- Coordinate daily operational tasks across the project, liaising with internal departments and contractors.
- Monitor and control fuel consumption and requests for project operations.
- Coordinate and monitor camp services — maintenance, laundry, cleaning, catering, water supply — and log consumption data.
- Assist with the monthly budget, purchase requests, and measurement sheets ("fojas de medición") for supplier payments.




- Support planning and execution of minor works and facility improvements under the Operations/Camp Manager's direction.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in camp operations, logistics, or administrative coordination for mining, energy, or remote industrial projects.
- Experience with service coordination (catering, cleaning, laundry, maintenance, water supply), procurement support, or supplier measurement/certification documentation is a plus.
- English: professional fluency (B2 or above) for daily coordination.

- Strong cross-department coordination and practical problem-solving skills, able to respond quickly to urgent operational needs.

Special Requirements

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently between camp sites and nearby towns.
- Full on-site residency in the project area (Jujuy, Argentina), with adaptable hours based on project needs.
