About the Role

We are looking for a Back-End Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development, integration, and support of applications within a manufacturing and industrial software environment.

The adecuado candidate has strong experience building Python-based microservices and REST APIs, working with databases and messaging platforms, and troubleshooting production issues. Experience with manufacturing systems, MES, ERP integrations, or industrial software is highly valued.

Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role will work directly with a U.S.-based client.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and Python microservices.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations across multiple applications and platforms.
- Develop and support integrations involving Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems.
- Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
- Develop and optimize data solutions using PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with front-end and cross-functional teams working with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, development, testing, releases, and production support.
- Investigate and troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes.
- Contribute to application reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Support integrations with manufacturing applications, including Proficy Plant Applications and Proficy Scheduler.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional experience in back-end software development.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.




- Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka and/or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with Redis and caching strategies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software integration patterns and distributed systems.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving production issues in complex application environments.
- Experience working in Agile software development teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- English level: professional.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Oracle Fusion or other ERP integrations.
- Experience with Proficy Plant Applications, Proficy Scheduler, or similar manufacturing execution systems.
- Experience in MES, manufacturing technology, industrial software, or related domains.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Experience working across the full software lifecycle, from development and testing through deployment, release, and production remediation.
- Familiarity with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
