About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join Rain Engineering’s delivery team and support a cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program.

The selected candidate will work as a dedicated member of the delivery team, contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from development and testing through releases and production support.

This is a highly collaborative and technically demanding role, working with modern cloud technologies, microservices, integrations, and industrial software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications supporting a cloud-based MES platform.
- Develop and enhance front-end applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Build and maintain Python-based microservices and REST APIs.
- Develop and support event-driven integrations using Kafka and Azure Service Bus.
- Work with Azure cloud services, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
- Support integrations with Oracle Fusion and other enterprise systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, releases, and production-defect remediation.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, QA, and other technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions in development and production environments.
- Maintain high standards of code quality, automated testing, documentation, and engineering practices.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications





- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Proven experience developing and integrating microservices and REST APIs.
- Experience with Kafka and/or Azure Service Bus.
- Experience with Azure cloud environments and Kubernetes.
- Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Experience working in Agile software development teams.
- Experience with code reviews, automated testing, software releases, and production support.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is required. English will be used regularly for communication with international teams, technical discussions, documentation, meetings, and day-to-day collaboration.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Experience with Proficy Plant Applications or Proficy Scheduler.
- Manufacturing or industrial software experience.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Experience working with industrial, manufacturing, or enterprise software platforms.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and event-driven systems.

English Requirement

English is a critical requirement for this position. The candidate must be comfortable communicating professionally in English, both written and spoken, including participating in technical meetings, collaborating with international teams, discussing requirements and technical solutions, and handling documentation and production-related issues.
