Role Description The Zonal Head is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing operations, business development, and client relationships within an assigned geographic zone. This role includes managing regional service delivery for planned works and emergency water supply projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

The Zonal

Head will coordinate with internal teams and contractors to plan installations, bulk water deliveries, infrastructure setup, waste water management, and contingency projects. Day-to-day tasks involve developing and executing sales and growth strategies, monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and forecasting resource needs within the zone. The role also includes engaging with key clients and prospects, handling escalations,



supporting contract negotiations, and collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

- Experience in regional operations management or zonal leadership, ideally in utilities, water services, facilities management, or related industries.
- Strong skills in business development, client relationship management, and account management to grow and retain key customers within the zone.
- Proficiency in project planning, coordination, and execution, including managing installations, logistics, and service delivery across multiple sites.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance relevant to water infrastructure, temporary supply solutions, and site-based operations.
- Ability to analyze performance data, prepare reports, and use metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners.
- Demonstrated capability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions under time-sensitive conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental management, or a related field is preferred; significant relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and basic office software for planning, reporting, and remote collaboration.
