The Role:
Proofpoint Engineering is looking for a Senior Program Manager to drive delivery across our cybersecurity product portfolio. In this role, you'll lead cross-functional programs that span Engineering, Product, Threat Research, and Operations — ensuring teams stay aligned, dependencies are managed,
and critical products ship on time to protect millions of users worldwide.
What you'll do:
- Own product delivery across the full software development lifecycle — requirements, design, development, testing, and release — across both cloud and appliance-based product lines
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Threat Research, Operations, and Customer Support on programs that span multiple teams and timelines
- Coordinate across multiple Agile teams using scaled Agile practices including aligning sprints, managing cross-team dependencies, and driving program-level delivery rhythm
- Turn program complexity into clear, strategic updates for senior leadership
- Lead strategic planning and end-to-end delivery for multiple programs simultaneously, balancing long-term goals with day-to-day execution
- Manage cross-team dependencies, surface blockers early, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on
