Pensionable Salary Enhancement - Nurses in eligible classifications may be eligible to earn an additional $5.95/hour when working full-time hours within a prescribed six-month reporting period. (Effective April 1, 2025 – March 31st 2027.)

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager,



Health Services, the Registered Nurse provides professional registered nursing services for patients with complex and unpredictable health needs, including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, a leadership role within the health care team, and facilitating coordination of patient care and discharge. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a commitment to the vision, values, goals and objectives of the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Concordia.

Experience
- Endoscopy experience preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of orthopedic surgical experience required.
- A minimum of 1 year surgical experience preferred.
- 1 year current relevant clinical nursing experience an asset.
- Day surgery experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
- Appropriate C.N.A certification (or equivalent), for prog
